Sunday afternoon the tournament started off with a clinic for all the participants of the tournament. Incredible how much you can do with a 100 guys on a baseball field in an hour and a half. Good warming up and intense fielding, catching and hitting .
Both the coaches and and players enjoyed that very much. After the clinic coach Donovan "addressed the troops...." and told the players what he expected from them and the tournament. Immediately after that New England Wolfpac and Kinheim had their barbecue in order to prepare for their game. Next everyone else enjoyed the barbecue, which was prepared very well by "Slagerij Vreeburg". Not bad to feed 250 people from the barbecue within 2 hours.
At 7 pm it was game time for the opening game between NE Wolfpac and Kinheim. The score went back and forth but in the end Kinheim prevailed and won it 10 -5. First day is done, we had a good start. Let's see what the rest of the week brings.
