Every cloud has a silver lining

After yesterday's clouds we were ready for a silver lining today. We started the day with two wet

fields, but during the day the fields got into better shape. There was the sun that helped us but definitely also these guys in the picture were a great help. The field crew of SRO has been keeping up our field at Pim Mulier stadium this week and they did a fantastic job. Sweeping the field, maintaining the mound and the batter's boxes, putting the lines on. Great job guys.

There was a lot of baseball too today. We had 8 games. In the quarterfinals Holland Black, NE Wolfpac, Japan and Holland Orange managed to proceed to the winners round. In the semifinals Holland BLack beat NE Wolfpac and Japan beat Holland Orange. Japan did came back from behind in the last inning both in the quarterfinal and in the semifinal, two narrow escapes. The final is tomorrow at 14:00 hrs at Pim Mulier stadium between Japan and Holland Black. The other results and other games of tomorrow can be found here.
