We expected some rain going into the day, but this went beyond anything we could think off.
We did get in a game, or at least 4 innings between Belgium and Wolfpac. This made it a regulation game for the tournament, Wolfpac won 6-1.
After a discussion with the SRO field crew it was obvious that the field could not be recovered for play today. So it was an easy call to cancel the games for the rest of the day.
But now a new question pops up: "How to proceed with the tournament?"
Together with the coaches that were at the field we discussed and we decided the following: We will not complete poule play and we will start tomorrow's elimination games as planned with the standings we currently have. That means that we will have the following games tomorrow:

12:00 pm, Japan - Belgium @ Pim Mulier
12:00 pm, Kinheim - Holland Orange @ Onze Gezellen
